New Sponsors!

Every year we have tons of companies that support the Sweep every year - and we are eternally grateful for their generosity! We'd also like to welcome aboard a new group of folks that have committed to helping us for our sixth event.

First up is SoCal's Ritte Van Vlaanderen, a cycling company that is a force of nature. They're named after a Flemish racer who won the Tour of Flanders in 1919 despite making a pit stop at a local pub for several beers. Not only do they make sexy bikes and rad clothing, but they've got a team that's filled with "handsome, good-looking and terribly attractive men and women." They're showing their love for their NorCal brethren by donating a Bosberg or Crossberg frame as one of the top prizes for the Speed Category.

And the local Ritte dealer and SF bike shop, Cykel (who's also a new sponsor), is throwing in a pro build along with a frame. The lucky winner can bring in the requisite bike parts, and they'll put it all together so

you can roll away in style. Cykel is also kicking down some other prizes just because they're super awesome.

The lovely and talented NYC-based Nona Varnado is donating some of her exquisite cycling clothing for women, including one of her fantastic Rivendell hoodies; this wool jacket is perfect for SF's fickle microclimate weather.

Giro, the helmet and accessories company based in Scotts Valley, is pitching in some of their rad cycling goods to the Sweep. And Strava, which lets you log your runs and rides with GPS technology (and virtually battle for bragging rights on logged routes amongst your comrades through their various online rankings and leaderboards) is throwing in some sweet swag - including 4 premium yearly subscriptions.
